Well, quite honestly, I can FINALLY say, it has been a LONG time since I have done an update. Brace yourself, my
friends, this is what I have been through for the last 3 - 3 1/2 years. YES, IT'S BEEN THAT LONG!!! Well, I moved out of my
apartment in Schaumburg where I lived for almost 4 years, but we (my mom) decided she couldn't re-sign the lease with me -
LONG STORY, from there I went to a woman's shelter - it did not work out ... then I admitted myself into a psych unit where
I met someone by the name of Tony (and boy, I hope he reads this) ... well, he got out of the hospital after I did and I was
staying with a very dear friend of mine, Rita. THANKS RIRI! Well, Tony got out and found a job for the both of us as Managers
of an apartment building. I think I lasted for a whole 6 weeksI couldn't take him and his brother and their friends
partying the whole time, but, I couldn't take the mental and verbal abuse either, he was nothing but a complete nigtmare to
live with (yes, they gave us an apartment for free). Well, couldn't take it anymore, the owner of the building was a pain
in the you know what. She was really flighty, moody, calling us at all different times of the day and night and morning and
boy was she nosey! Anyhow, packed up as much as I possibly could have and took off with my Social Worker and told her that
I refuse to back there!! I told her I wanted to go bacl to the hospital, so went back to a hospital and met a guy there, we
hit it off ASAP, well this would have been 3 yrs in November for us.(him and his brother and someone got my stuff and put
it into storage for me while I was BACK in the hospital again. Well "he" got discharged exactly 1 week after I did.
Now, back to Tony, being the nice person that I am, Tony's car was going to be, well not going to be, but was repossessed.
So, I told him that he can use my car. I was supposed tp have gotten it back a 2 years ago January. Well, never
got my car back along with with both of my television sets, my 2 living room chairs, my beautiful entertainment
center that I saved so hard for, a TV/DVD plaayer. He didn't give me back some of my clothes and shoes,
amongst a lot of other things. That's ok, wait until I start driving again - it will be MISSION TIME! So Tony, or Adam,
if you are reading this ... BUSTED!!!!! Ok, sorry for jumping around, but now back to the 2nd guy that I met at the hospital,
him and I ended up going to a homeless shelter together and it made me so sick, all the stress, then we had to sleep in a
tent together ... that's when I said NOPE ... I tried it for a week and, ummmmm, NOOOOOOOOOO, tenting is not for me!!!
Had a nervous breakdown, got admitted to another hospital and they put me in a place called Maplewood Long Care Facity.
June 4th was my 1 year for being there, got approved for Social Security, Disability. I made my father my payee and
now I am in my own apartment and loving it. I just can't wait to start driving again ... probably, within the next few weeks!
That's my update and I'm sticking to it.

Well the last time I updated this was in February. Alot has gone on in these last few
months! Let's see, I am no longer living in Schaumburg anymore (if interested, email me and I will give you all of my
new info), I moved to a suburb called Mundelein (for those of you who are familiar with IL, it's up towards Libertyville).
I got a job, which is a cool one for the most part. I am a Residential Manager, which means, I don't pay rent.
I have to vacuum the hallways, clean and wash the laundry rooms and the front foyer and do misc. things such as memo's to
tentants and all that fun stuff, so I get to work out of my apartment. The only time I will get paid is if I rent out
an apartment, other than that, my living arragements are work related - cool, huh? Once everything is caught up over
here at the building then I can go and get a p/t job at one of the offices over here, so I will at least be bringing home
some money.
Anyway, that is my update so far, keep in touch and enjoy my new pictures!!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!I
Well, we are 1/2 way through the 2nd month of
2007 - is it going by fast or is it just my imagination? Hope everything is going well for ALL of you so far this year.
I went to see the surgeon today (for those of
you who do not know the reason behind it, e-mail me and I will be more than happy to explain what happened). Infection
is basically gone and I will not need surgery, thank goodness!
I spent a week in FL. I got to celebrate
my birthday with my mom, step-dad, and my almost 18 yr old son, Drew (still can't believe he is going to be 18 in March- wow).
I also got to spend it with my sister, my best friend, and my hero Shari. Even though Shari & I have had our ups
& downs over the last few years, we really bonded during the time I had spent with her in Florida at her new house, which
by the way is absolutely beautiful. Here is just a small list of things I did in FL for my birthday which was January
29th. Arrived in FL on Tuesday the 23rd around dinner time, we went to a really nice place to eat and it was
right on the ocean. Wednesday, my mom and step-dad both had to work and Drew was in school, so I was home and by myself,
which was fine with me. Thursday, my mom, step-dad and I went to a shopping mall, called Sawgrass Mills (got a new suitcase),
it was freezing out and raining (actually it was cold the whole week I was there) - the mall is huge so we did a lot of walking
(if u all remember correctly I hurt my ankle a few months back, so needless to say, my ankle/foot, were pretty mad at me -
LOL). Friday, my friend Gina picked me up, we dropped off Andrew and his girlfriend at their Friday night hang
out and her and I went to one of her friend's home (which is the most beautiful house I have ever seen). Saturday, my
mom and I went shopping at the flea market (got a new watch, got batteries put into 2 of my watches & also, got a cool
new purse & got Cooper his food). We also went to Costco's where I got a really cute outfit to wear
to Gina's (also it was a warm outfit because like I mentioned early on it was cold), Gina & her husband Eric (very
nice man) invited my mom, my step-dad and me to dinner along with 2 other couples (which one of the couples happens to
be my mother's cousin (small world). They all sang Happy Birthday to me, I thought that was really nice and very thoughtful
- So thank you Gina & Eric. I forgot what we did on Sunday - however Sunday night I slept at my sister, Shari's.
Shari's boyfriend, Michael was there, he is a wonderful man, my sister really lucked out. Shari picked me and Drew
up and we spent time there, when I walked into her house there were balloons waiting for me and we ordered in Chinese
food and watched a movie (Pirates of the Carribean #2), I got very beautiful cards from my sister, after we ate dinner Drew
had to go home because he had school the next day - but before he left Shari brought out a cake - A DELICIOUS CAKE - &
they (Shari, Michael and Drew) sang Happy Birthday to me. Monday (my birthday), I spent with my sister & we went
shopping - she bought me a beautiful chain with a charm that says Big Sis on it. She bought herself a matching chain
& has the other 1/2 of the charm, hers says Lil Sis. She then brought me back to my mom's house so that I could
get ready for my birthday dinner. My step-dad had to work so it was just my mom, Drew and me. We went to Stir
Crazy. It was good as I was eating it, but I got sick later on in the evening after eating it :( ... I was then
dropped off @ my sister's house & spent the night there again. SHARI, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! I really enjoyed
my time with my sister & of course the time I had with Drew. Other than that, my trip was just ok - nothing major!
It was very cold there. This was the 1st time in the 20 years that I have been going down there that I did not bring
anything warm to wear. I got a new bathing suit while I was down there & never got to wear it - I couldn't even
go swimming - just too cold & plus, I did not even come back with a sun tan - and I was in what they call the SUNSHINE
STATE, ugh!
My dad informed me today that they had to put
Bailey down (one of three dogs that him and my step-mom have. When you go to my In Memory page, there is a picture
of Bailey on there). Bailey was a great dog and out of the 3 that they have, he was my favorite. He was diagnosed
with prostate cancer and was really only given 2 months, but he lasted 9 months. I'm going to miss him. At least
he is not suffering anymore and I know that this was for the best, but it is still sad. Once you have a pet they become
part of the family, at least that is how my family is. Just like me with my bird Cooper, he may be just a bird or a
pet to some people but to me, he is my baby.
My mom called me earlier this evening and informed
me that Dave's (ex-husband), mom (who I will refer to as M) is upset with me for not sending her an e-mail or call her to
see how she is doing and when my mom asked why, M stated that she had a heart attack 4 WEEKS AGO!!!! Well, my mom told M that
I had no idea about it & M said "yes she did, because the kids (Brandon & KK) had told her" ... my mom then replied
back to M "Cindy had no idea, because if she (me) did, she would have done everything possible to get a hold of you (M)".
So needless to say, I was completely and utterly shocked, I called M's house but Dave's father (BIG TIME JERK) answered &
I hung up, because he has a fit anytime he finds out I am on the phone and the kids are talking to me at HIS house.
Long story about Dave's dad, but all I can say is that HE (Dave's dad) is a real piece of work - the words that come to my
mind when describing him are words that I would rather not put in this update, due to the fact that this is a family oriented
site, so I sit here biting my tongue, LOL. Anyhow, I made M a card and wrote her a letter - it will go out in the mail
tomorrow. I am still, however, really upset that this happened to M.
HAVE TO THROW A THANK YOU SHOUT OUT TO LEA, THANKS
FOR MY BIRTHDAY CARD THAT YOU MADE AND SENT TO ME VIA SNAIL MAIL - THANK YOU VERY MUCH - U HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH IT MEANS
TO ME THAT I WAS THOUGHT OF ON MY SPECIAL DAY! YOU ARE MY GIRL & A GREAT FRIEND, I'M TRULY BLESSED!!!
Oh well, that about somewhat updates my year so
far.
